Due to my concert project coming up a week from tomorrow and my tendency to plan things over-ambitiously, I will unfortunately have to postpone the rest of my posts until after the concert… I am completely swamped with things to do in prep for the day…
However, I do want to use the post for a little self promotion…
Myself and a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music will be going to India this summer with a charity called KINSHIP. They specialize in providing children with opportunities for creative play and have recently built a playground for children in Zanskar, India. They will be going back this summer, bringing us musicians along, to put on music workshops for the children to encourage their creative expression and give them a fun, new way to learn.
We are currently looking for donations for our trip since we will have to be trekking through some of the Himalayas and also need to provide percussion instruments for the children. If you would like to learn more or are able to donate, please visit our funding website and “like” our Facebook page!
If you are in London for the 18th of June, my concert will be that night at 7.30pm at RAM and it would be great if you could make it!
